Case Study: Recycle.utah.gov — Legislative → Livable

What I did

Built a multi-phase digital ecosystem I continue to steward:  

• Custom facility map (150+ locations, searchable/filterable)

• Proactive community event intake form

• Live corporate buy-back program database

Designed with WCAG standards and plain language so residents could actually use it without calling someone.

Outcomes

Meets 100% legislative transparency requirements. Self-service tool cut public inquiries 40%. Now serves as single source of truth for counties statewide. Content/webpage design used as model for other state programs.
